Here are pictures and our review of Terra Restaurant Brasilis, which is located at General Tiburcio Square, Red Beach in Urca. The phone there is (21) 2275-4651. It's right on the square of the trolley-loaf sugar.
We were in the restaurant at the invitation of Terra Brasilis Kekanto staff ( see here ), a great site for review bars, restaurants, hotels etc.. Every month they do an event to bring together the users and this were present, besides the personal Blog Vatel and Restaurantesdorio .
Terra Brasilis is in a prime location. Right on Red Beach, overlooking the sea and the Sugar-loaf. Probably one of the most beautiful views, provided by a restaurant in Rio de Janeiro.
We sat on the outside of Terra Brasilis, super nice by the way, and went to bottled beer. They were very cold. Input, a delicious white pizza to follow.
Enjoying the cold winter weather, a spectacular full moon, a sight beyond wonderful and the live music that plays there, could not resist and tried the fondue (cheese and chocolate). An excellent choice in a place so nice and so cool companies.
Finally, we tried to eat meat that is served to be completed on the hot stone with salt (only now that I learned it was fondue ). However, for some reason we do not know, did not work very well. When not stuck was too salty. The manager explained that it did not work, perhaps because the stone is too hot, but it generally works very well. If someone has already eaten and had better luck than us, do not forget to comment down there, okay?
The attendance of the Restaurant Terra Brasilis was excellent, especially by the manager who is very attentive. With all that, we had a great evening with nice people in a wonderful place and a beautiful full moon that just made us have a great impression of Terra Brasilis and a longing to return once more.
The location is the strong point of the earth Brasilis. The restaurant with its stunning views and outdoor area is perfect for gatherings of friends and couples, perfect for those warm weather days, when at last we can enjoy our landscapes without the torture of hellish temperatures.
It's been a wonderful night. And I agree about the meat. Then we use olive oil, problem solved. I loved meeting you and congratulations on the blog.
The menu at Terra Brasilis needs to be more informative. The waiter told us that the meat fondue (£ 72.00), Cheese Fondue ($ 45.00) and chocolate (R $ 44.00) serve two people, but the Fondue Mix (300g meat, cheese and chocolate) ($ 75.00) per person is. No information on this menu and I would hate to only find out when the account that my husband and I would have to pay 2 x $ 75 (ie $ 150) for fondue mix.
Additionally, the menu is a part of "soft drinks" and elsewhere for "drinks". Is assumed that the drink is alcoholic, right? No! The price reported for the fruit cocktail ($ 12) is no alcohol, if you ask fruit cocktail with alcohol to pay more (and the price is not on the menu!).
In other words, be careful, otherwise you may get a shock when you receive the bill at the end!
Another tip: the view from the outside is really BEAUTIFUL, but there is smoking. If you do not want to smell smoke of others, sit in the closed part.
Being a resident of the Urca I frequent this restaurant for quite some time, and I can say really is one of the best restaurants located in RJ. But the menu did not really like either the content or information on food and beverages.
Formerly it was great to go there and eat a bait fish for some reason they took this snack menu. Where we have seen, a restaurant on the beach does not have practically any dish derived from the sea.
Lately, just going to eat pizza in a wood and make Chopp, and after all the place is great.

The food and wonderful service pessimo eh! The current owner guilherme h an unprepared person who does not know acting sobpressao, besides not knowing hire, do not know how to deal with the public! Reinforcing the problem of poor attendance, a couple who invited her to the restaurant when it was realized that there was no table in the same dish. I celebrated my mom's birthday lunch there, but the service is lousy. The food is not worth the high price. I like frozen and is not well-served to split between two people. Ask a coconut, q came damaged (did not even know was possible), an undercooked steak (for two for 70 dollars) that came crisp and hard, like meat and rice the old Piedmont was horrible too. A couple at the next table also did not like. They asked a lot of turnovers and the core was frozen. They sent back!
The view is really breathtaking, but it is best to drink Coke and eat somewhere else! Do not fall into that trap!!
