There are times we were not in a place where we feel as good as Tonamata! Face you can tell already the proposed location. Poor lighting, candles, bonfire, live music and the best ... the staff frequents the place! Beautiful people, cool and lively!

The place has an attendance and family (the owners themselves and help in organizing care) and it made us feel more comfortable and still. The pattern of consumption and payment is to bookmark - you get a card at the entrance where consumption is marked. At the exit you pay your statement by the consumption marked on it. This makes it easier since they do not have to ask to close the account table and the payment is made directly in cash. The covert is $ 15.00.

The night was very cold and with a sensational moon, which made the place even more charming.

Excellent news: the Tonamata beer is served in bottles (Skol, Brahma and Antarctica and U.S. $ 4.90 Original, Brahma Extra and Bohemia $ 5.90)!

We emphasize, too, that drip with honey is a success there (so that at the end of the night was over all stock-since so many people knew he was taking!)

We also lots of pastel (£ 14.00) which was pretty tasty too!

The band that was playing is excellent and in the end everyone was already standing enjoying the music. The style is classic rock! Now my fault ... I left to catch the band's name in the end, only that in the end I was not able (many pingas and beers in the head) and I forgot. I think it's the Woodhouse Band, but I'm not sure ...

So who knows the name, help in the comments here, ok?

Finally, we can say that we are very happy in the Tonamata known. As I said, it was very time that we were not going into a place here in Rio and we were so pleased. Great place, attentive and friendly owners, good music, nice staff and exciting! Simply sensational!

Deliciante - Playground dos Bandeirantes

The Deliciante is located in Alfredo Baltazar da Silveira (old route 9), n. 1975 Recreation dos Bandeirantes - Rio de Janeiro. The phone there is (21) 2497-4359 and the site www.deliciante.com.br .

There are times we were scheduling a visit to Deliciante, but for various reasons had never worked. Until it is right near where we live and always go straight to get home.

We follow all the fighting Deliciante from the opening until the present day, to get to establish itself as a reference in Recreation. In the beginning we realized that no one so well received and was never full. Today, however, we can say that Deliciante (apparently) is a success! Very well attended and always full of beautiful people!

The atmosphere there is great! Super nice, beautiful decor, spacious and pleasant music style resembles that of the fundo Ballad Mix ( here's our post on there ) in which priority is given to the juices, açaís, sandwiches, burgers, salads and grills.

We input, as always, and beer was good.

We were very well attended and the food came fast, too.

We ask a Rump Burger (grilled sirloin burger, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato. Accompanies sauce campaign - value $ 29.90) "and accompanying fries or green salad or caesar salad or batataum. We caesar salad as accompaniment.

We, too, Penne with Pesto (Olive oil, basil, nuts, garlic and Parmesan - R $ 23.00 value)

Now just look at our point of view ... you know when you love a place, is well satisfied, your night is great and, even if not perfect, you're embarrassed to be critical?

Yeah ... It is precisely our case. We love the place, the music, the service, the astral and the public that attends there, but frankly (as this is the intent of the MBR) were a bit disappointed with the food that we ask. BUT READ CAREFULLY OUR CRITICAL (we do with a broken heart):

The Rump Burger was not bad at all. But I confess that by the price and photo of the menu would imagine that better displayed. I think the fact that they cut in half made me imagine that it was not as great as I paid for it to be, or, as I imagined it would.

The Penne with Sugo was also far from bad. However, to our taste was missing more sauce, though we note that the combination was very light and smooth (maybe for those who do not like much sauce would be perfect).

But it is clear (despite our criticism - hopefully constructive) that Deliciante is an excellent place for a nice lightweight program. We are sure that you can not qualify a restaurant, bar or pub just for a single visit and that many factors influence to the final print over the place.

That said, we can say that even the food is not completely pleased with us, we love the Deliciante and certainly we will post here again about it. Also because we were well attended (and this is essential), otherwise it will never come back.

I think more than ever, the comments below will be much more enlightening than our simple, simple, unpretentious and amateur opinion. Comment, folks!

Le Relais de Marambaia - Restaurant Le Bateau

Le Relais de Marambaia is located at Estrada Roberto Burle Marx, 9346 - Barra de Guaratiba - Rio de Janeiro - RJ. The phone there is (021) 2394-2544 and the site is www.lerelaisdemarambaia.com.br

The hint is this: Wake up early, put a light clothing, good shoes and go towards Bar Guaratiba. Once there, ask how to get on track to go to Turtle Rock. The trail is very quiet and you can do without any problems. Take, too, bathing suit to enjoy the beaches almost deserted at the end of the trail.

To end the tour with a golden key is to lunch at Le Bateau, the restaurant of the Hotel Relais de Marambaia.

We arrived late in the afternoon and the visual is simply wonderful. An inside view of the Restinga Marambaia.

We beer (unfortunately only serve long neck - $ 4.00), which were extremely icy.

The restaurant specializes in seafood and French cuisine. The dishes are very well prepared, delicious and best, price is not so expensive. Look at the menu here .

We ate well, drank a lot and still we enjoyed the sunset there ...

What should f hoisted was the attendance was not as good as hoped. Just had a gaçonete to meet the restaurant and our table was huge. But nothing that hinders good impression we got from there.

Finally we can say that our tour was excellent and finished with a flourish at the Relais de Marambaia. A place with stunning views, good food and affordable for the quality of the dishes that are served there.
